RitaCONNELLPassed away peacefully on 13th February 2025 with her family at her side after a short stay in hospital.
She is now reunited with her dearly beloved husband Michael, RIP. Recently of Middleton and formerly of Moston, aged 90 years, she was a dedicated member of St Dunstan's parish, where she made a lasting impact as a teacher, parishioner, and enthusiastic member of the AODS community for many years.
Dearly loved mother of Andrew, Catherine, Margaret and David. Cherished grandma of Elizabeth, Jennifer, Robert, Steven, Emma and Daniel. Rita will be very sadly missed by her family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday 7th March at St Thomas More RC Church (102 Mainway, Middleton, Manchester M24 1PP) at 9.45am followed by a short private family committal at Blackley Crematorium (Victoria Avenue, Blackley, M9 8JP) with a celebration of her life to take place afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family's chosen charity NSPCC.
